Scale cuts (Schuppen) are a simplified form of traditional Old German roofing, but the use of a uniform tile size reduces the required tiling effort. Our special formats offer clear benefits, both as far as the material price and the tiling time is concerned. Detailed information on request.
The tiles should be laid in the opposite direction to the main wind direction.
Cuts:
We usually produce scale patterns as a normal cut. On request we can also provide a blunt or sharp cut (see traditional Old German roofing).
Delivery schedule:
Mainly available in Assulo® slate. On request Original Altlayer® and Monte Color® slate can be provided.
